Since 2015…
Unrelated to my job at the time
- Wrote and published a Sketch tutorial on Medium.com
- Made 50 prototypes in Framer in 50 days and later published links to each on Medium.com
- Made 10 prototypes of mini-games in Framer and published long-winded tutorials of each on Medium.com
- Recorded and published a short introductory course about Framer on Skillshare and Udemy. [No longer published]
- Started a meet-up to meet others interested in and to teach Framer [Has since disbanded]
- Wrote curriculum for and taught twice a class called “UX Design for Beginners” for Tech Talent South
- Joined and took ownership of a meet-up targeted at JavaScript beginners.
- Started a meet-up to meet others interested in and to teach VueJS
- Wrote and published a 10-part tutorial on Medium.com wherein I re-created the iOS calculator app using VueJS and CSS Flexbox and CSS Grid
- Was guest-speaker at a Developer meet-up to present a tutorial on using VueJS to create a map-centric tracking web app
- Started writing short, 1-minute read articles — like this! — once per day, back in late-October, 2018. I haven’t missed a day since.
- Read 10s of— close to 40 — books on subjects like product management, leadership, sales, communication and design
- Helped create and continually improve a robust web application that enables pavement managers to monitor the health and history of their road networks via an intuitive map-centric interface
- Made several prototypes of a mobile app connecting fellow composters with local businesses that are each serviced by one company
- Became a dad
- Started a mentorship, tutoring and coaching service for junior front-end developers
