HBO wants you to leave

Or so I hope.

New episodes scheduled for Sunday were available Friday.

Why would they do this?

I assume HBO collects viewer data.

I hope they analyze this data.

I hope they know what counties viewers watch from.

I hope they know which shows their viewers watch.

I hope they know when exactly those viewers watch.

I assume they do.

I assume a percentage of those viewers watch episode premieres from their homes…in areas where a hurricane may be headed…on the date of the premiere.

I hope that, to encourage safety for their viewers, they released episodes early. So that viewers could watch early. Then pack up and retreat to safer counties.

I hope that is why they did this.
